sARTurday: All That Family Allows by Caroline Tompkins

Growing up in a punk community in Cincinnati, Caroline Tompkins roots have spread far and wide: she’s a photographer; an artist and a zinester. The NYC based feminist inspo is one of those female photographers that appreciates life’s everyday bits-and-pieces. Her honest to God work, from calling out catcallers to producing feminist zines, makes her the embodiment of the empowerment of women and the appreciation of the world we live in.

Her utopian collective – titled “All That Family Allows”, has photo-snapping ladies; an extremely cute dog and the ever-mandatory sunset or two. Seems like the ideal holiday getaway.

And thank-you to the lovely Caroline Tompkins for her lovely email of gratitude for this post!
